Leicester Mammas provides Peer Support for parents from pregnancy through to when their child is 2 yrs old. Our trained Peer Supporters are available to listen to mothers and provide evidence-based information and guidance on all aspects of caring for their newborn, right through to toddlerhood. Because parenting can be hard and we were never meant to do it all alone!
We deliver antenatal classes and lots of other sessions both online and in face-to-face groups. Mammas is led by an experienced Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), which means specialist breastfeeding help is always on hand.

Carrying those children has been and is still a big part of our family life. Hi, I’m Kelly and I own and run Kelly’s Crocodiles Swim School.
Kelly’s Crocodile’s is a privately run swim school based in Queniborough. We offer swimming lessons for babies up to and including Stage 3 and aim to make learning to swim fun and enjoyable.
We offer small class sizes to ensure that all swimmers are kept engaged and receive plenty of attention. There is no standing still or waiting around in our lessons, we aim to keep everyone moving / swimming for the duration of the class.
I'm Claire and I run TinyTalk Baby Signing & Toddler Talk classes.
Teaching your little ones how to sign (we teach BSL – British Sign Language) is an amazing way for them to be able to communicate with you before they can talk. Signing helps reduce frustration for everyone and gives you a window into their mind as to what it is they see, how they feel, what they need and what they want. Signing is just simple hand gestures just like waving (saying hello and goodbye) and clapping.
Baby Signing classes are suitable from around 7wks-11 months* (*from the start of the term) then it’s time for Toddler Talk classes which some stay in until they go to school! Classes are usually held in Woodhouse Eaves, Loughborough & Quorn.

I’m Kyle and I am a qualified drama teacher running Baby Drama in the Leicestershire area.
After the birth of my daughter in 2019, I discovered how much drama I used with her as a way of communicating and developing her language acquisition and a year later, Baby Drama was born.
Our classes provide an opportunity for parents to engage in stimulating activities with their babies in a fun, nurturing environment. We focus on empowering the parent to support early development and explore language acquisition and communication development through various drama mediums.
We use a range of props every week including; puppets, story mats, sensory scarves, loose parts and much more. Classes are suitable from birth-2 years.

diddi dance classes are designed for children around 16 months -5 years to enhance their co-ordination and rhythm. We nurture their natural love of movement in a structured yet relaxed 45 minute class.
We use a range of props, from ribbons, hoops and Pom poms, as well as other fun props which change with our different dance themes such as salsa, disco and hip-hop, allowing them to learn lots about music and dance styles whilst having tons of fun!

The nappy library services the Leicester(shire) area, promoting the use of cloth based baby items such as nappies and wipes. The library offers the hire of trial kits to those interested in trying different kinds of cloth nappies before committing to a purchase of their own and support clients during the hire period and beyond.
Hires start as little as £10 for two weeks and a wide variety of kits are available including newborn kits, ‘birth to potty (10lbs+) kits, mini kits and nights kits. Full support is provided and a list of discount codes to support buying your own nappies are also included in the cost of the hire.
